No gi class schedule change |

There is a change in the no gi class schedule through the holidays and into February. The schedule has been changed to no longer include the Monday and Wednesday 7:15PM-8:30PM classes.
This applies to ONLY the no gi class on Monday and Wednesday nights.
This is a temporary change, expect the schedule to change back again sometime in February.

Come work on your take downs and throws with Tommy Seibel. Half of the instruction will be for gi, the other half no gi. Open to non-students.

US Open 2007 Results and Video!! |

Last week was the US Open in Santa Cruz. The tournament really increased its registration from last year with over 600 competitors, one division even had 48 people! We had a great turn out with 16 competitors from our school and a good number of people coming to check out the action and lend their support. When it was all done we walked away with a number of medals, wins, and good times. If you missed it hopefully you can make it next year!

There are also a number of Sundays matches posted online, with links to them on our Forum. Please check out the fights, but you'll have to log in or create an account too see the post.

After recently receiving his black belt Zaid Mirza is keeping busy advancing Jiu Jitsu in Jordan. The guys at On The Mat recently caught up with him for an interview. He talks about his past training and a little about what he's up to now. Zaid is doing great things, he's working hard to spread the sport we all like so much. Be sure to check it out!

We just got a new section of the site up and running. It's a forum for the school and for Jiu Jitsu in general. Try the link on the left, register and make a few posts. Be sure to check back often for community type information, answers to class questions, and upcoming get togethers here in Sacramento and around the world.
